This weekend kicked off the annual Cherry Blossom Festival here in Washington, DC. A million people will descend upon the city in the next two weeks to check out our famed cherry blossoms. But I think the Kite Festival is one of the coolest things about this time of year. Tons of people come down to the National Mall and run around and fly their kites. It’s a lot of fun to watch.
